The City
ELS/Santa Clarita is located between the ocean, desert and mountains on the College of the Canyons’ 60-hectare campus, situated just 55 kilometers north of Los Angeles.

College of the Canyons (COC) offers modern facilities including an award-winning library, a media and fine arts building and a newly remodeled and expanded Student Center.
Students at COC receive priority when transferring to many California 4-year colleges and universities including: UCLA, Pepperdine University, University of Southern California, University of California Riverside and Santa Cruz. These universities accept COC class credit toward a bachelor’s degree.
College of the Canyons has partnerships with California State University (Bakersfield, Fresno, and Northridge), Chapman University and the University of La Verne to offer undergraduate degrees on campus.
Santa Clarita has been named the safest city in the U.S. with a population of at least 150,000 by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
