ELS/San Diego is situated on the Southern California coast and has one of the best climates in the United States. As California’s second largest city, San Diego is a metropolitan city with the charm of a small town.

Located in the prestigious NBC Building, ELS is conveniently located in the heart of downtown San Diego's entertainment and shopping district with hundreds of shops, restaurants, movie theaters and night clubs within a 10-minute walk.
Students may explore Horton Plaza, the city’s premiere retail shopping center, and the Gaslamp Quarter, with its exciting nightlife - both just a short walk from the Center.
Many students enjoy day trips to the beach, Disneyland®, Universal Studios®, Sea World®, Wild Animal Park®, and Mexico or spend a weekend exploring Los Angeles or Las Vegas.
Students may take advantage of ELS' University and Career School Cooperative Program with local participating schools including Grossmont College, Palomar College, The Art Institute of California-San Diego or specialty institutes GIA for gemological studies or FIDM for fashion.
