The City
ELS Language Centers is located on the 300-hectare campus of the University of Wyoming (UW), a major research institution located in Laramie, Wyoming. UW is located two hours north of Denver in a typical American college town.

ELS students may experience the natural wonder of Yellowstone National Park and Old Faithful, the world-famous geyser, only eight hours from UW.
The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching selected UW for its highest research classification, “Doctoral/Research Universities - Extensive”.
The College of Arts & Sciences received a four-year research grant from NASA for Planetary and Space Science.
UW was cited in the Princeton Review's list of the USA's "Best MBA Programs".
Forbes and the Princeton Review named UW as the 13th ranked school in their list of "Top 25 Most Connected Campuses" in 2003.
