ELS/Grand
Forks is located on the beautifully wooded, 220-hectare campus of
the University of North Dakota (UND) in Grand Forks. Located on
the border of North Dakota and Minnesota, UND is listed as one of
the best 200 national universities in U.S. New & World Report and
one of 100 universities listed in America’s Most Wired Colleges.
Grand Forks is a classic college town with 50,000 people and
includes parks, bike trails and a new Arnold Palmer-designed golf
course.
The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching selected
UND for its highest research classification, “Doctoral/Research
University – Intensive”.
The John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences is one of the
world’s most advanced collegiate environments for aviation
education, training and research.
UND offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree
programs including business, health sciences, engineering,
aviation, music and more.
The UND men’s hockey team has won 7 national championships and
plays in the best college hockey facility in the country, with
seating for 12,000.
